One woman at the inn reportedly developed marks around her neck after feeling something akin to an invisible rope being wrapped around the skin. There has also been a report of a Cromwellian soldier on the site.

The child she carried in her arms survived, and Ruth now remains to warn others against venturing out during cold winter nights. Finally, a seventeenth century coachman lurks around the bar.
