Frank
Location: NW8 - Crocker's Folly public house (no longer a pub?)

Further Comments: A local legend says that Frank Crocker is said to have thrown himself from an upstairs window after the pub that he opened failed to attract the business he expected. He was said to appear every night when the cash tills were emptied. In reality, Crocker died in his bed of natural causes, his suicide story coming into being in the mid-1980s.

Knight or Bear?

Further Comments: A strange entity was rumoured to frequent NW8 and the surrounding areas during the 1830s. Some reports said it wore chainmail, others saying it was more bear-like.

Haymaker

Further Comments: The ghost of a former haymaker stalks the area; he killed his co-worker with a pitchfork (or was killed by his co-worker, depending on the source), and now tries to attack anyone who sees him.

Mrs Griffiths
Location: NW9 - Colindeep Lane

Further Comments: Mrs Griffiths drowned herself in the pond after a heavy drinking session. Her ghost was said to haunt the area. Another local legend says a policeman died of fright after giving chase to a 'little man' who vanished before his eyes.

Dazzling Little Donkey
