Further Comments: Turned to stone by a couple of antisocial ogres, the old man of Storr has remained a monolith for hundreds of years, and no doubt will forevermore. A local legend says that fairies once stole horses from all nearby farms and rode them around the area at breakneck speed. All the horses were later returned unharmed.

Further Comments: A young woman invited an Each-uisge in the guise of an old woman into her shieling overnight only to awake during the night to find it eating her companion. On discovering the Each-uisge, the young woman fled, only managing to escape the clutches of the beast by crossing a flowing stream that the Each-uisge was unable to cross.

Further Comments: Sounds of music and partying can be heard coming from this mound, the little folk still in full party mode. One legend says that a local fiddler was paid handsomely in gold to perform for the fairies at one of their parties. He fiddled for ten hours, after which he returned home, only to find a hundred years had elapsed.

Further Comments: A grieving widow was comforted by an Each-uisge which took the guise of a man who appeared at her cottage after the death of her daughter. He used magic to keep the fire alight before vanishing in the morning.

Further Comments: Rather than end up in the arms of a man she did not love, this young lady leapt from the top of the tower and plunged to her death. Her ghost has been reported drifting around the site.
