Further Comments: Sir John Fulford claimed to have seen his father sitting in a chair at Fulford House. Sir John asked the figure why he had returned from hunting early, only to watch his father fade away. A short time later news reached the household that the man had died while hunting. Family folklore stated that the ghost of any recently deceased family member would briefly appear in the chair.

Further Comments: This entity has been reported in the part of the building that housed cottages and a small printing press, which has been offered as an explanation to the sound which accompanies her.

Further Comments: This ghost, when flesh and bone, was turned away from the Tavern during a cold winter's night. She died soon after, and to take revenge, her ghost took up residence in the building. The spirit now pulls bedding off sleeping guests.

Further Comments: Hanged somewhere close to the inn for theft, the shade now torments the bar staff by periodically playing with the pumps.

Further Comments: Part of this wooded area is haunted by a ghostly woman in grey.
Location: Worthy Down - Disused railway course near the former Winchester Junction

Further Comments: A husband and wife were walking along the disused junction taking photographs, when without warning a small figure wearing a muddy coloured coat rose from the ground no more than four metres in front of them. The figure wore a hood, but the parts of the face which could be seen resembled a child. The figure also had slanted dark eyes. The husband grabbed his wife's hand, said 'hello' and took a step towards the figure - it turned to the left and vanished.

Further Comments: This phantom, thought to be James Rogers (the first licensee), has a particular liking for his tankard. When the tankard was last moved, the alarm system kicked in during the early hours of the morning until a peace offering was made.
