Further Comments: The marks on the hill near the church were said to be the location where a dragon once laid. The church is named after Margaret of Antioch, who was swallowed by a dragon but escaped when her crucifix caused irritation.

Further Comments: The area was once thought to be a place of evil - no birds would sing in the area, and it was thought haunted by a headless hound. A headless man was also reported in the region.

Further Comments: A gamekeeper was forced to flatten himself against a wall as a phantom coach pulled by a team of eight horses thundered past. Other reports of the coach along the same stretch of road state that the team is accompanied by several hounds.
