Located inland in southern
England, Wiltshire covers an area of 1350 square miles, and much
of the region has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty. Trowbridge is the county’s capital, with the cathedral city of Salisbury renowned for its
local plains and ghostly stories. This area of the UK is best known for its ancient
stone circles – one can find both Stonehenge and Avebury here,
and the associated legends which accompany both sites.
