Broad Haven (Dyfed) - Ripperston Farm

A seven foot (2.13 metres) tall silver clad entity was seen by Billy and Susan Coombs from the window of their farm. The family were plagued by other ufo related experiences around this time, although in 1996 businessman Glyn Edwards claimed he had wandered the area in a silver suit as a joke.
Bubbenhall (Warwickshire) - Stoneleigh Road

A couple in their car thought a falling flashing object was going to hit them. They reported the object as being half the size of their Vauxhall Corsa, flashing orange, and being a dinnerplate shape. The ufo landed in nearby fields, but what became of it is unknown.
Burbage (Leicestershire) - Park along Grove Road
Six young people watched a glowing ball hovering above the park. They originally believed the light to be from a police helicopter's searchlight before realising there was no rotor blade sounds. The ball remained for five minutes before shooting upwards and disappearing.
Burgess Hill (Sussex) - London Road area

A married couple, along with other witnesses, observed five circular lights in the sky. The lights were different colours and 'snaked' for a few minutes before all turning white and shooting off in different directions. Twenty-two years later a witness heard a 'TV white noise' sound emerging from the sky which lasted around 20 minutes.
Burgess Hill (Sussex) - Royal George Road

While outside, a male witness heard aircraft engines and looked to the sky. He watched a 737 appear briefly in the gap of the clouds, closely followed by another craft which was twice the size of the recognisable airplane. The latter craft was boomerang shaped with squared wing tips and dark grey or black in colour. After disappearing into the clouds, the witness did not see either craft again.
Burnley (Lancashire) - Over Rowley lake, Brunshaw road

A night fisherman spotted an arrow shaped object travelling at a fantastic speed above him. The craft was silent, had a light at each corner and left no contrails. The witness believed it could have been manmade. And possibly connected to a nearby military base.
Bury (Sussex) - A29, Bury Hill

A van driver reported an extremely bright ball of light the size of a steering wheel hovering above the road. After around three seconds it darted past the van, the driver estimating it moving between 80 and 90 mph.

The Ministry of Defence confirmed that Suffolk Police had handed over a report of four black spheres which one person had seen moving across the sky in formation.

Several people, including a member of staff at the Cathedral, reported observing a luminous grey UFO over the area. One witness contacted the police.
Buxton (Derbyshire) - Skies above Harpur Hill area
A phantom helicopter was reported flying around the area at night several times over a two year period. Press and police were unable to discover who or what was behind the mysterious craft.
Buxton (Lancashire) - 2500 ft above the area
Two pilots in a 737 reported narrowly avoiding a large black wedge shaped UFO while flying into the airport from Milan. The object passed so close to the passenger aircraft that one of the pilots ducked.

The occupants of the abbey were said to have been terrorised when a large radiant silver object flew overhead just as they sat down to eat. Many years later, a passing farmer listened to phantom plain chant while watching a ghostly form move around the gravestones.
Caerphilly (Mid Glamorgan) - Caerphilly Mountain

Two men speaking in a strange tongue were seen by a witness here - they made their escape in an airship. Though it is thought they were German, no country in the world had an airship capable of making that kind of flight at the time.
Caistor St Edmund (Norfolk) - Caistor Hall Country Club

While stopping at the club to pick up a coat, Stanley Taylor watched an object hovering in the sky. He said it was the shape of a rugby ball and around the size of two double-decker buses. The dull silver object gave off a hum and, with a sudden 'whoosh' flew off, quickly becoming a dot in the clouds. Another person nearby was said to have heard the sound but did not witness the object.
Caldbeck (Cumbria) - Crossroads at Goose Green

Two witnesses watched three large white spinning balls holding equal distance from each other for around twelve minutes. The balls eventually moved at speed; one flew left, one right, and the third straight up, all vanishing from sight within a couple of seconds.
Caldbeck (Cumbria) - Cumbrian fells - exact area not known

A disc shaped alien spacecraft crash landed in this area. Three people witnessed the event; a farmer and son who were held by military personnel for two weeks, and a poacher who claimed to have seen two bodies, with 'faces like the Devil's' (the poacher had a breakdown soon after). The RAF (?) removed all evidence of the incident from the area.
Carlisle (Cumbria) - Coastal marshland NW of town

Jim Templeton, while taking family photographs, caught on film a strange white figure wearing what appears to be a spacesuit floating behind his daughter. Jim stated that the figure was not visible at the time of taking the photograph. Author David Clarke wrote that the figure is likely to have been Templeton's wife Annie, the 'spaceman' illusion created by overexposure.
Aurora Borealis is rare, but not unknown, over England.
Chapel-en-le-Frith (Derbyshire) - Skies over village

Now thought likely to be Aurora Borealis, parish records mention a bright light over the skies of the village, changing from white to the colours of the rainbow. Occasionally flashes of light and smoke could be seen.
Chawton (Hampshire) - Skies above the town
22 June 2002, 21:35h
Filmed by a witness for several minutes, a round ball of white light darted around the sky. The light changed shape and size several times before finally disappearing behind a dark cloud.
Chinley (Derbyshire) - Skies over the village
A witness here watched a bright object for around twenty seconds before it disappeared into a dark and heavy snow cloud.
Church Stowe (Northamptonshire) - Road through village
22 November 1978
Elsie Oakensen saw this craft as she drove through the village, returning from work. Passing underneath, her car lost power, and she experienced fifteen minutes of 'missing time' - later hypnotic regression revealed she was taken on board the craft.
Cleveland (Yorkshire) - Exact location not known
November or December 2003
A rumour floating around on the internet said that a cigar-shaped ufo, around six metres in length, was forced down by two RAF fighters. The crashed craft deeply embedded itself in mud, and rather move it straight away, authorities buried the ufo with the intent to move it once interest died down. Whether this happened is unknown.
A flying ship makes an escape from Clonmacnoise.
Clonmacnoise (County Offaly) - Unknown church
During Mass, the congregation at this church were interrupted as an anchor dropped from the sky and caught on the church door. The people investigated and spotted a ship floating above them; one of the crew diving overboard and swimming towards them through the air towards the anchor. The congregation grabbed the sailor, but the bishop demanded that they let him go. As the group released the man, he floated upwards and once on board the ship, someone cut the rope attached to the anchor - the ship sailed off into the sky. The anchor was said to have been on display at the church.
Colchester (Essex) - Sky over Titania Close
September or October 1976
A group of children playing football watched a light dart around the sky at incredible speed. It momentarily stopped moving before darting off once again in the direction of the A12 road. The light later returned to the area and was seen by other witnesses.
Conisborough (Yorkshire) - Skies above town

The famous black and white photograph of three discs flying over the town taken by a 15 year old schoolboy remains a mystery to this day.
