Further Comments: A few stories are associated with this site. One story says St Patrick sat in the chair and created the well, which could cure warts, as a gift to locals. Another tale says druids used the chair for sacrifice, while another story claims witches used the stone for their rites. The well had a reputation as a 'wishing' well, and at least one modern story says anyone who sits on the chair and makes a wish shall have it come true within days.

Further Comments: A brother and sister who ran this farm fled and moved to the US after it came under supernatural attack by an entity which took the form of another sibling who had died in Canada. Bangs and crashes were heard in the kitchen, and on two occasions, the entity tried to strangle the sister.

A ghostly white lady.
Quake

Further Comments: The rector wrote of a deep rumbling which manifested in the kitchen, like an earthquake, although no furnishings moved. The noise suddenly stopped and was replaced by smashing crockery in the pantry. Together with his servants, the rector approached the pantry, but before reaching the door, it opened and a white woman emerged. Pursued by the rector, the white woman moved upstairs and vanished in front of the rector's son. The woman appeared several more times afterwards, but never so dramatically.

Further Comments: A family moved from their home after a poltergeist outbreak began on the third anniversary of the father's death. Water started to pour from the ceiling, fires spontaneously started, furniture moved unaided, and banging and scratching could be heard. One report claimed that police were too afraid to enter. While the local minister said that the occurrences were due to human hand, the homeowner maintained that her late husband was trying to drive the family out of their house.
