Further Comments: A farmer from Sheemore (Co Leitrim) who once helped the fairies had his cattle taken by bailiffs. The bailiffs drove the cattle for a few miles before being intercepted by the fairies at a bridge, where the bailiffs were beaten by invisible foes and scared away. Legend says this is how Battlebridge received its name.

Further Comments: Soldiers stationed at the barracks reported seeing this green lady as she patrolled the area. Some claimed the ghost to be a former servant at the house who descended into madness and hid herself away in a vegetable cupboard.

Further Comments: Castlerea Prison hit the news after claims that an exorcism was required to dismiss strange paranormal activity occurring in the gym. Governor Dan Scannel denied the reports.

Further Comments: The upper part of the tower attached to the house is said to be haunted by a man from the Cromwellian period, possibly by the name of Coote.

Further Comments: When empty, locals avoided this building, considering it haunted by a ghostly bailiff who wore a pot around his neck. A priest managed to trap the entity in a room which was soon bricked up.

Further Comments: The ghost of Mills, a High Sheriff, had been trapped in a room in this house, but briefly escaped during renovations and brought misfortunate to the household.

Further Comments: A phantom black pig made itself known to children. Adults standing in the same area could not perceive it, even when the children shouted that the entity was running around their feet.
