Further Comments: After the death of her husband, Bridget Murphy and her children were plagued by banging and rapping in their home which sometimes followed the tune of The Soldiers Song. Beds would lift off the ground and plates would be thrown through the air. After two failed exorcisms the family left for America, only to be followed by the rapping, although the sounds ceased after a while.

Further Comments: This glowing ball of light rolls around the castle lake, normally marking a major event which will affect the whole of Ireland.

Further Comments: A psychical researcher claimed that the haunting presence in his house communicated with him via knocking. He would ask the ghost to count how many fingers he had extended in his pocket, the answer to which the shade correctly replied each time.

Further Comments: Just after climbing into their car, a witness watched a figure dressed in old fashioned clothing glide past the passenger side door. The entity was also seen by a neighbour, standing at the foot of the bed.

Further Comments: The farmhouse became home to a noise that resembled a heavy hammer hitting nails into the floor. After prayers were said on the property, the sounds slowly faded away and never returned.

Further Comments: A type of monster which could only be slain by a hero or saint, little more is known about the peist said to lurk in the area.

Further Comments: A local legend says that a member of the Maguire family asked a stablehand to injure a horse belonging to a racing opponent. When the young lad refused, he was murdered. His phantom eventually ended up haunting the old stable, panicking any animal which stayed there too long.

Further Comments: A group of friends driving home saw a recently dead man known all of them step out in front of the car. They tried to avoid the ghost, but it stayed in front of the vehicle until they turned sharply at a crossroads.
