Covered in an extensive
canal network, the maritime county of Cheshire claims to have some
of the most picturesque countryside in England, and is also known
as the ‘Vale Royal’. The county town of Chester has
a rich Roman heritage (with a few phantom legionnaires still remaining)
and traceable history going back four thousand years, while Macclesfield
also has a rich paranormal vein.
