Beckett
The phantom of Sir Thomas Becket was observed by a monk in 1240, who claimed the phantom held a crucifix and was hitting the walls and protesting against the newer constructed gate. More recently, the ghost of a monk is reported to haunt this area of the tower; a tourist who photographed the gate found a strange hand dressed in a lace cuff on his image.
