Though the Isle of
Wight only covers 147 square miles, it claims to have 500 miles
of walkways and paths for the visitor to access virtually every
inch of the island. The region is a patchwork of fields, meadows
and woodland, with a smattering of barrows and ancient settlements
scattered throughout. Although the paranormal reports from the island
are few in number, their diversity is wide, and make up for any
shortfall.
